Thought Anatomies

Wheaton Josepha Natzke Thought Anatomies 1 small

I find myself constantly fascinated with the ways our minds form thoughts and emotional responses to our surroundings. By connecting sensory experiences, images, and memories, our brain generates an ever-expanding and evolving idea or train of thought, and this is what I have tried to encapsulate through the drawings here. The visual form of a collage allows for exploration of the mind’s process of coming up with thoughts; how they form, morph, and expand from fragmented ideas and memories into one cohesive image.
